Water has seeped into a number of residential houses and other structures in Hamdaina colony Bemina Srinagar.
Reports said that, water has entered the ground floor of most of the houses in the colony.
Imam Hussain hospital in the area has also shifted patients to upper floors, patients from the hospital said.
All the rivers and tributaries across Kashmir valley are flowing above the routine levels following continues rains from a couple of days.
A police official from Bemina police station said that the entire resident has moved to the second stories of their houses.
Water has spillover on the most of the roads of the city, creating hurdles for the traffic movement.
