SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Wednesday said that the Bemina and Sanat Nagar flyovers in Srinagar will be dedicated to the public in March 2024, adding that the construction has advanced significantly and is almost finished.

Vijay Kumar Bidhuri said that there has been substantial progress in the construction work of both the vital flyovers.

He added that the soil work on Batingo flyover is also going on in full swing. “Although the project has missed the deadline due to some issues, which have now been resolved, the work is going on in a pace and will be completed by December 31,” he said, adding the two-way traffic will ply on the crossing soon.

Regarding Bemina and Sanat Nagar flyovers, the Div Com said, “The implementation of these flyovers aligns with the administration’s objective to enhance the region’s infrastructure and provide a seamless commuting experience for residents and commuters alike. We are expecting to dedicate the flyover to people by March next year.” (KNO)
