SRINAGAR: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri, has postponed all examinations scheduled to be held up to July 24, 2026, in view of the prevailing situation caused by incessant rains and flash floods affecting parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
The university announced the decision through a brief notification on Sunday, stating that all examinations scheduled till July 24 stand postponed. Revised dates for the postponed papers will be notified separately.

The decision comes as several parts of Rajouri, Poonch and adjoining districts have witnessed heavy rainfall, flash floods and landslides over the past few days, disrupting normal life, damaging infrastructure and affecting road connectivity. Authorities have also been carrying out rescue and relief operations in the affected areas.
Students have been advised not to report to examination centres and instead keep a close watch on the university’s official website and notifications for the revised examination schedule and further updates.
