SRINAGAR: Season 2 of the Big Cricket League will be held from March 11 to 22, 2026 at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium, organisers announced on Monday, with international cricketers set to compete alongside amateur Indian players in the Pro-Am tournament.

The event, to be staged in Greater Noida, will follow a player auction on February 16, where franchises are expected to assemble mixed squads of established professionals and emerging domestic amateurs. Officials said infrastructure and logistics are being supported by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.
The league debuted last year with participation from prominent international players, drawing attention for its format that places amateurs and seasoned professionals in the same competitive structure. Organisers say the second season aims to expand participation and visibility while maintaining the Pro-Am model.
League commissioner Dilip Vengsarkar said the tournament seeks to provide a structured platform for emerging talent to compete at a professional level. Authorities added that preparations are under way to ensure smooth conduct of the matches.
The competition is expected to feature multiple teams over nearly two weeks, with organisers positioning the event as part of broader efforts to promote sports infrastructure and opportunities for aspiring cricketers in the region.
