SRINAGAR: A labourer from Bihar died, while another was injured after falling in the Lassipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
An official said that two Bihar labourers were injured after falling from a height while working at Mehboob-ul-Alam, a corrugated box manufacturing factory in Lassipora.
He said that both were shifted to the hospital, where doctors declared Manesh Kumar, son of Srikantdas Kumar, a resident of Bihar, as brought dead due to a head injury.
Another injured labourer, identified as Mitlas Kumar, son of Chutandas Kumar, a resident of Bihar, sustained trauma to his right leg and is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance and started an investigation in this regard. (KNO)
