SRINAGAR: The BJP on Saturday took strong note to make public the transfer list of Kashmiri Pandit employees and demanded action against the officials responsible for the leak.
BJP JK spokesman Altaf Thakur in a statement said that making the transfer list public on social platforms is a big security breach as militants have now a clear idea of who is posted where.
In a statement, Thakur said that it was surprising to see the fresh transfer list of Kashmiri Pandit employees out in the public.
“This is a security breach as terrorists have a clear idea who is posted where,” he said.
Thakur said that government must take strong note of it and find out who is making the fresh transfer list of migrant KPs public at a time when target killings are taking place in the Valley.
BJP JK spokesman said that officers involved in the act must be reprimanded and action should be taken against them.
He said the government was taking serious steps for the protection of Kashmiri Pandits but some officials are playing spoilsport.
He also urged officers not to make the transfer list of KPs public given its sensitivity.
