The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday announced its candidates for the forthcoming biennial Rajya Sabha elections 2025 from Jammu and Kashmir, which will be held under three separate notifications.
According to an official order, the BJP’s Central Election Committee approved the names of Ali Mohammad Mir, Rakesh Mahajan, and Sat Pal Sharma as its nominees for the Upper House seats from the Union Territory.
As per the announcement, Ali Mohammad Mir has been nominated under the first notification, Rakesh Mahajan under the second, while Sat Pal Sharma will contest for the two seats notified under the third notification.
