Bharatiya Janata Party leader Mohammad Maqbool War on Monday said that an FIR should be registered against National Conference senior leader Akbar Lone for allegedly raising pro-Pakistan slogans.

War who filed nomination papers for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections told reporters that Lone was enacting a drama for votes by issuing misleading statements against India. Reports quoting BJP leader said, raising slogans in favour of Pakistan is an ultimate disrespect to the country.

Meanwhile, PDP’S Abdul Qayoom Wani, Raja Aijaz Ali of People’s Conference, Akbar Lone of National Conference and Independent Candidate Amir Sohail filed nomination papers at Deputy Commissioner office for Baramulla seat.
