Sharma’s victory completes the distribution of all four seats, following earlier wins by Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Sajad Kichloo, and Gurwinder Singh Oberoi of the National Conference (NC), who claimed the first three seats.

Cross-voting from some MLAs outside the BJP contributed to Sharma’s winning margin, reflecting the final political arithmetic in the House.

BJP, with 28 Assembly members, strategically named its Jammu Kashmir unit chief Sat Sharma in the third notification

With all results declared, the NC claims three seats, while the BJP takes one, marking the conclusion of the Rajya Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
