SRINAGAR: A black bear was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Srinagar- Leh highway near Shiekhbagh area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district late last night.
Quoting officials of the wildlife department the news agency KNO reported that as they received the information, a team of wildlife department recovered the body of the bear.
They said they shifted it to Dachigam National Park for further medical formalities, while a case has been also registered and further investigation was going on.
