SRINAGAR
Ganderbal police recovered a male body from Padshahi Kanal near Nuner, Ganderbal. A police statement said on Tuesday.
The body according to police was later identified as Ali Mohammad Parray, age about 55 years, son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Wayil, Ganerbal.
While quoting family sources police said that the deceased was mentally abnormal and was missing since May 11,2013. After completing all legal formalities the body was handed over his relatives for last rites. Ganderbal Police initiated an inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
Meanwhile Harwan police recovered an unidentified male body of age about 33 years, probably a non-state subject, near Ghat Shalimar, Harwan. The body was shifted to the hospital for medico legal formalities.
