SRINAGAR: A 55-year-old man was found dead in an orchard in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Sheri Gujri, son of Abdul Rahim, a resident of Quilmuqam village.
According to officials, the man, who earned his livelihood as a coppersmith, was discovered lying lifeless in an orchard in the village.
Police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to his death. [KNT]
