Srinagar
Police on Saturday recovered the body of a 19-year-old youth from Jhelum at Guzerbal Noorbagh area of Srinagar district.
The deceased was identified as Shabir Ahmed Sheikh, son of Abdul Rehman, a resident of Khag area of Magam in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Shabir had got drowned on August 16 at Kani Mazar Nawakadal when he was washing a sheep in river Jehlum.
The body has been kept at Police Post Chattabal, an official said.
