SRINAGAR: The body of fisherman man who had drowned was recovered by police in Tangmarg area of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports said that some locals spotted the body of Shabir Ahmad Dobie, son of Bashir Ahmad Dhoie of Tangmarg Kulgam lying on the bank of the river near Kong Wattan, Aharbal.
“Soon after that locals informed the police. The body after being retrieved was taken to the hospital by police for medico-legal formalities,” said the reports.
“Proceedings under 174 Crpc have been initiated and investigation taken up,” they said.
