SRINAGAR: This season, Bollywood beelined Kashmir literally. While some top actors have completed their schedules, some are flying to manage their shootings.
Within days after he was bailed in a case involving wildlife, Salman Khan flew to Sonamarg with Jacqueline Fernandez to shoot a song for Race3. The action thriller is scheduled tone realised on Eid. After concluding their schedule in Sonamarg, the actors moved to Leh.
The two lead actors actually took a bike and went to biking across the Zoji La Pass. It is not immediately known if the biking was part of the film or just for leisure.
Prior to them, Abhishek Bachchan spent a few days of shooting in Kashmir as well. He was shooting for Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan. He and co-star Taapsee Pannu shot certain sequences near the Thajiwas Glacier in Sonamarg and Zojila. After the shooting was over, Bacchan Jr visited Mughal Gardens as well.
Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is also shooting some scenes of his upcoming movie in different locations in the Valley. He is shootingJalebi.
Reports in media suggest that Bhatt would also be shoot for a serial, Udaan, for Color TV at various locations including Mughal Gardens, Shankarachariya Road, Nagin Lake and downtown Srinagar, besides the popular tourist resorts of Sonamarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Doodpathri and Yousmarg. Bhatt would be shooting at these locations till May 15.
Some South India crews are also in town. Annapurna Studios is shooting for Telugu serial Maddamandaram at different locations in Srinagar, Gulmarg and Sonamarg.
