Demanding justice, hundreds of the people on Friday morning blocked the Srinagar-Uri highway for hours demanding the arrest of the culprits involved in the murder of Boniyar youth.
Hundreds of the protestors including the family and relatives of a 25-year-old youth identified as Azim Nazir Khan, a resident of Boniyar, who was found hanging from the ceiling of his gym centre in Azad Gunj area of Baramulla on December 18, 2018.
The protesting residents sought the intervention of authorities in bringing the family to justice by arresting those involved in the murder.
In this regard, the police had already registered a case and SIT has been constituted to investigate the incident.
