Students protested against the delayed distribution of the class 10th Arabic paper in the examination centres at an educational institution in North Kashmir.

Reports said that class 10th examination conducted by Board of School Education commenced from Monday. At least 61 students who were supposed to appear in Arabic paper reached at Al-Huddah College of Education in Pattan before the scheduled time but were surprised to see nobody either from BOSE or College present at the examination centre 3111. “The exam was supposed to start at 1 pm but till 3 pm nobody turned up there resulting in massive protest against the BOSE,” a group of students told CNS.

Reports said that after the protest, one of the teachers informed Secretary BOSE who immediately directed Superintendent Examination to report at the centre. “Finally examination superintendent along with few teachers arrived in the college and the examination started at 3:45 pm,” students said. When contacted, Examination Superintendent Muhammad Ramzan sais that he had no information about it. “I was not informed by the BOSE authorities that students have to appear in Arabic paper today that is neither I nor my staff had arrived at the examination centre,” he said.
