An 11-year-old boy died at Kanipath area of Singhpora in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district due to air tank blast on Tuesday afternoon.
Reports said that the boy namely Mohammad Abass Dar son of Ghulam Hassan died on the spot when the air tank exploded at Kanipath area. It was not immediately known as to what the boy was doing inside the shop.
“The initial investigations point out that the blast occurred due to excessive pressure in the air compressor machine (air tank),” news agency GNS quoted a police officer as saying.
He said that police has taken cognizance and further investigations are underway.
