SRINAGAR: A boy drowned in the Vishow River in the Hassanpora Bagh area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday.
According to reports, the boy accidentally slipped into the river and drowned. Locals retrieved him from the water and rushed him to Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Bijbehara.
Doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Hazim Showkat, son of Showkat Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Hassanpora Bagh in Kulgam district.
