A boy was injured after he was attached by a bear in Sopore last evening while four persons were injured in South Kashmir road accident, JKP spokesperson said on Monday afternoon.

A bear attacked and injured a 14 years old boy Mohammad Umar Dar son of Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Panzla at Panzla Sopore. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK03-7880 turned turtle at Harnag in the jurisdiction of Police Station Islamabad resulting in injuries to four passengers.

All the injured were shifted to the District Hospital Islamabad for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard, the spokesperson said.
