Residents of Hazratbal on Thursday held protests amid a shutdown in the area following a fresh brad-chopping incident in Dhobi Mohalla area last night.
Reports said that the residents took to streets and staged massive protests against the increasing braid-cutting incidents.
All shops and other commercial establishments are closed in the area. Locals said that two braid cutting incidents have taken place in the area in past one week.
