Braid of a woman was chopped by unknown persons in Pehliharn village of Narvaw area of Baramulla district in northern part of Kashmir late last evening, reports said.
The incident, acoording to reports, took place around 8 pm when the lady went to washroom outside their house.
The victim was identified as Shaheena wife of Manzoor Ahmad Lone. She is the mother of two kids.
The family registered a case in nearby police station today.
