A Border Security Force (BSF) officer was killed on Tuesday after Pakistani snipers allegedly fired upon the BSF troops along LoC in Samba area of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that the officer sustained grave injurious earlier when he was fired upon while carrying out border domination, resulting in serious injurious to the officer.
The deceased has been identified as Vinay Prasad, Asstt. Comdt posted at Samba. Soon after the incident, the officer was evacuated to MH Satwari, Jammu where he succumbed to his injuries.
