SRINAGAR: A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel allegedly died by suicide in the Trehgam area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Quoting sources, local news agency JKNS reported that the BSF jawan, posted in Trehgam, allegedly shot himself in the head while on sentry duty.
He was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The reason behind the incident was not immediately known, and further investigation is underway.
