SRINAGAR: A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel died on Thursday after collapsing suddenly at the Jammu Transit Camp, officials said.
The deceased, identified as Constable Driver Sandeep Kumar of BSF Headquarters Kashmir, fell unconscious while cleaning a vehicle at the camp. Colleagues immediately administered CPR and first aid before evacuating him to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead. The exact cause of the collapse is yet to be ascertained and further investigations are underway, officials added.
