BSNL’s Poor Service Irk Subscribers in Valley

With the poor network service of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in the Valley, the cellular company has come under severe criticism with its subscribers alleging it to be a reason of immense hardships.

The subscribers which also include media fraternity told KNS that there is poor network of BSNL since last two days in the Valley. They said that BSNL service is irking the common customers, who have been suffering because of insensitive and fleecing attitude of this government owned telecom service providing company.

Ever since the launch of BSNL service in the Valley, there has been complaints of poor signal but nothing was done by the concerned authorities to improve the same. While the entire world is experiencing better telecommunication with each and every passing day, the trend is reverse in Kashmir, said a local.

“If somebody wants to make call, it doesn’t work and after continuous trying for hours together, call hardly gets connected. The situation gets worse as the person receiving call hardly hear the voice of caller,” a local complained from Kanikadal Said.

The subscribers said that since 2014 deluge, the BSNL has been a cause of irritation for them as they say most times it doesn’t function properly.

Due to poor internet services, many BSNL subscribers have switched over to other service-providers for better internet services.

The subscribers later appealed the BSNL higher ups to look into the matter and redress their short grievance at earliest.
