SRINAGAR: The Bharat Sanatan Premier League (BSPL), a national-level T10 cricket tournament, will be held in Indore from March 13 to 15, 2026, organisers announced. The league aims to engage youth in sports while promoting discipline, teamwork, and social responsibility.
The three-day tournament is organised by SANATAN CRICKET CLUB LLP under the patronage of Pandit Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj. Eight teams representing different Indian states will compete: Chhatrapati Shivaji Warriors (Maharashtra), Subhash Chandra Bose Freedom XI (West Bengal), Sardar Bhagat Singh Brigade (Punjab), Rani Lakshmibai Strikers (Uttar Pradesh), Ahilya Mata Guardians (Madhya Pradesh), Samrat Ashok Lions (Delhi), Chandrashekhar Azad Sena (Uttarakhand) and Maharana Pratap Ranbankure (Rajasthan).
Matches will follow a T10 format, including group-stage games, semi-finals and a final. Player trials will be held in eight cities from February 2, 2026: Navi Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Indore, Noida, Dehradun and Jaipur.
Prize money totals 46 lakh rupees, with 31 lakh for the winning team and 15 lakh for the runner-up. The Man of the Series will receive a car, and each Man of the Match will be awarded 21,000 rupees.
Funds from the tournament will be directed to social welfare projects, including disaster relief, education for underprivileged children, and support for acid attack survivors and families facing serious illnesses.
The SPL also aims to promote national campaigns such as Fit India and Khelo India, encouraging youth participation in sports and healthy lifestyles. Organisers said the league intends to keep young people engaged in constructive activities and away from harmful habits.
