SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, announced on Saturday the establishment of a cluster university campus in the Budgam district of central Kashmir.

LG Sinha made this announcement during his visit to the Beerwah area of the district.

Addressing a gathering, LG stated, “I want to inform the people of Budgam that the campus of the Kashmir Cluster University will be set up here.”

Sinha further mentioned that the administration has identified the land for the campus, and efforts are underway to expedite the process. “We are working towards completing the necessary procedures, and I hope we will commence the work very soon.”

During the event, the LG also highlighted the completion of 24 major educational projects costing Rs 37 Crores and 18 healthcare projects worth Rs 92 Crores in Budgam.

“I am deeply touched by the love and affection of my brothers and sisters in Beerwah, which motivated me to visit this place,” Sinha expressed. (KNO)
