SRINAGAR: The Budget Session of Parliament is scheduled to begin on January 28 and will continue until April 2, 2026, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju announced.
In a social media post, Rijiju stated that the first phase of the session will conclude on February 13, with both Houses reassembling for the second phase on March 9.
The Minister described the session as a crucial step towards meaningful debate and people-centric governance.
Rijiju also informed that, following the recommendation of the Central government, President Droupadi Murmu has approved the summoning of both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha for the Budget Session 2026.
