SRINAGAR: Panic gripped a vast Kupwara belt on Saturday afternoon when locals recovered a dead body from an orchard in Kahipora village.
Locals identified the dead civilian as Suhail Ahmad Dar alias Jana Dar son of Shabir Ahmad Dar of Kahipora Qaziabad. They alleged that he has been shot in the head.
Meanwhile police reached on the spot and recovered dead body. It will have to undergo post-mortem for necessary investigations. Dangiwacha police station has registered a case.
Dar was 23, and was into fruit business.
