SRINAGAR: A burglary attempt has been made on Grameen Bank in Dhargalon, Mendhar of Poonch, on the intervening Sunday and Monday night, according to sources.
They stated that some unknown individuals broke a wall of the bank last night. “Upon the arrival of the staff for their regular duties this morning, they noticed a hole in the bank’s wall, raising concerns about a possible burglary attempt by unidentified persons,” they said.
“Subsequently, a police team reached the scene and has been assessing the situation to determine if anything has been stolen,” they added.
When contacted, a police official said that they received information about the wall being broken from the bank officials. “We are currently verifying the details, and once we have the information, we will share the details accordingly,” the official said. (GNS)
