SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura received at least 37 injured persons since Saturday following death of militant commander, Burhan Wani.
Sources in tertiary care hospital said that almost 25 of the 37 injured civilians were hit by bullets.
“Three of them expired since last night including Danish, Haseeb and Mashooq,” the sources said.
On Sunday, the sources said, SKIMS received injured civilians from Kulgam, Ganderbal, Shopian, Pahalgam, Pulwama, Pampore, Eidgah and Soura areas.
The injured civilians from Eidgah and Soura were hit by pellets.
“One youth from Pampore, Sameer Ahmad bullet, was hit by bullet in middle of his chest,” the sources revealed, “he is undergoing operation.”
He said that one youth, Gulzar Ahmad Wagay from Mandoora Tral is under “observation but critical”.
“Two more youth from Chadoora and Shopian are under observation after they were operated upon,” he said.
The sources said that Shopian youth was identified as “Jahangir who was hit by bullet on left side of his chest”. “Jameel from Chadoora has been hit by bullet on left side of his forex.”
