State Cabinet which met on Tuesday under the chairmanship of chief minister Omar Abdullah has approved promotion of Sonali Kumar to IAS and three officers of 2008 batch to KAS.
Sonali Kumar, principal secretary (coordination) resident commission office, J&K Government, New Delhi have been promoted to fixed scale of IAS (Rs 80,000 per month) w.e.f January2, 2012. While as, the three junior scale KAS officers of 2008 batch namely, Jahangir Hashmi, Vaibhav Kohli and Dhanantar Singh have been promoted to the time scale of Jammu and Kashmir administrative service (KAS).
