The Jammu and Kashmir state cabinet will meet on February 05, Tuesday afternoon at the civil secretariat, Jammu under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, sources told local news agency, KNS.
“The meeting is scheduled for 2:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon in which the Governor’s address for the upcoming budget session will be the main issue under discussion”, a senior minister told KNS.
Meanwhile, sources said that in view of promotion of some senior police officials to the rank of Additional Directors General of Police, more posts of ADGs may be created for adjusting them. “Some additional charges of ADG rank by some officials may be taken away and given to the new incumbents”, the sources added.
According to sources, minor transfers are also likely to be effected in the administration during the cabinet meeting.
