State cabinet before the commencement of Darbar move is all set to meet here within a two days span with coming polls and transfers in the dispensation on cards.

Top sources told ( ) that the cabinet will meet here at civil secretariat immediately after the return of the chief minister Omar Abdullah from New Delhi.

Sources revealed that vital decisions vis-à-vis the forth coming polls in the state, slated for the end of this year are expected to be taken within the state cabinet and that decision over the final dates of annual darbar move will likely be announced.

Reports informed that the government at present is of the opinion to defer the moving of Darbar from the summer capital for 15 days due to the recent catastrophic floods witnessed in valley. Sources said that some ministers in the state cabinet hailing from Jammu- advocated for the commencement of the move on due date- remarking the measures should be taken so that the rehabilitation process would not hinder.

Also, the cabinet- expected to be held within two days is likely to order some transfers within the civil administration.

A senior cabinet minister wishing not to be named told KNS that the report sent by the government to GOI in the recent meet shall also be discussed with some key decisions into the issue likely to be taken.
