The Traffic police Tangmarg ceased the two vehicles belonging to State Cable Car Corporation Gulmarg for ‘lack of proper documents’.
The buses bearing the registration numbers JK01-4754 & JK01N-2360 were ceased for lack of Registration Certificate, Fitness, Pollution and Insurance, said Khazir Mohammad, ASI.
“One of the vehicles driven by Tariq Ahmad Malik, s/o Ghulam Rasool Malik, resident of Singapore Pattan was without licence, as well,” he added.
The people of the area have appreciated the steps of traffic police Tangmarg. “This is for the first time Gondola vehicles were ceased,” a group of locals told Kashmir Life, they further said, “as the Gulmarg Gondola is earning huge revenue, but they did not keep the necessary documents of vehicles in place.”
The vehicles were ceased on 18th of this month. The buses are now lying in Police Station Tangmarg.
