SRINAGAR: Government Forces on Friday launched a massive cordon-and-search operation in Goshbugh village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials told news agency KNO that a joint team of 29 RR forces, SOG Pattan and CRPF conducted house to a house search operation in Goshbugh area of Pattan this afternoon and sealed all entry and exit points in the area.
They said that a team of Army and, SOG jointly launched a search operation in the area following inputs about presence militants.
Searches were going on in the area when the last reports came in.
