Forces in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday afternoon launched a cordon and search operation at Rakh village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources said on a tip-off about the presence of militants, 33 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint search operation.
Local sources said that a large number of forces has been deployed in the area and door to door search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
