Srinagar
Government forces on Friday morning started a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Jamia Mohalla Old town village in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
An official said that a joint team of army and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched the operation in the area after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Locals said that a large number of troops have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation has started in the area.
