Government forces launched cordon and search operation (CASO) in Rawalpora village of South Kashmir’s district Shopain on Tuesday morning.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched searches in Rawalpora area of Shopian.
They said the CASO was launched in the village following inputs about the presence of militants.
Sources said that door-to-door searches were underway in the village and forces have sealed entry and exit points to the village.
