South Division daily casual labourers of wildlife protection division of Bijbehara Islamabad on Tuesday held a protest demonstration outside the wildlife office Bijbehara for delay in sending biometric information to higher officials.

Scores of workers while protesting said that the government is turning a blind eye to their outcries against their biometric online information which hasn’t been sent to the higher officials of the wildlife till now.

They criticised the authorities for regularization policy and said they are working in the department from decades but they haven’t been regularized yet.

They said they protested several times earlier also but authorities remain unmoved. They threatened of a daily sit-in protest outside the wildlife south Division Bijbehara if authorities fail to sort out their problems.

One of the protesting employees told Kashmir life that, despite repeated requests, department has  not bothered to sort our hardships. “Now we request the higher officials of wildlife and government to look out for their sufferings as everyone has turned blind eye to their woes.”

Muhammad Sadiq Mir, Wild Life Warden south Kashmir while talking to Kashmir Life said, “We are preparing a final biometric list of all the casual labourers, and it will take two days to send the list to the higher officials.”
