SRINAGAR: A labourer was killed and two others injured after a cement mixture carrier fell on them at a construction site in Pandit Colony area of Allowpora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.
Officials said the incident occurred during construction work on a double-storey building, when a cement mixture carrier fell from an upper floor onto a group of labourers.
One labourer died on the spot, while two others sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident. (GNS)
