SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions on Friday announced that all central government administrative offices located in Delhi and New Delhi will remain closed on May 28 on account of Eid al-Adha.
In a statement, the ministry said the holiday has been shifted from May 27, which had earlier been notified for Eid-ul-Azha observance.
“Central government administrative offices located at Delhi/New Delhi shall remain closed on May 28, 2026, on account of Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) (in place of May 27, 2026),” the statement said.
The revised notification applies to all central government administrative offices functioning in the national capital.
