SRINAGAR: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has empanelled senior Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer S Senthil Kumar (AGMUT: 1998 batch) for holding Joint Secretary or equivalent-level posts in the Government of India.
According to an Information Note (F.No. 17/1/2026-EO(SM-III) Pt-II) issued on April 8, 2026, the officer has been cleared for central deputation at the Joint Secretary level under the initial leftover category.
The empanelment makes him eligible for appointment to senior positions in various ministries and departments at the Centre, subject to further orders and selection procedures.
The government note also carried a standard disclaimer stating that the contents of the document shall not confer any legal claim on any individual for any purpose.
