Even the situation is very tense in Bandipora town due to clashes between protesters and the forces, a 100 year old man cast his vote at one of the polling stations.
Ghulam Mohammad Baba talked to media persons outside the polling station in Kaloosa and confirmed that he cast his vote.
Meanwhile, the locals pelted stones at a building in Bandipora housing three polling stations.
The incident took place after army men allegedly beat the locals “without any reason.”
Reports said that police personnel and the polling staff are caged inside the building.
