Chairperson State Human Rights Commission (SHRC), Justice Bilal Nazki, WEdnesday inspected the District Jails in Kupwara and Baramulla.
During the inspection, the Chairperson took stock of living condition of the inmates, viz-a-viz medical care, educational and vocational activities, legal aid, diet, water, heating and library facilities etc.
As per SHRC, the recommendations in this regard will be submitted to government separately.
