Chief Judicial Magistrate Doda, Suneet Gupta has extended the police custody of Sub Inspector Shiv Krishan Sharma and his personal security guard Mohammad Ayoub by three days. The duo were arrested by the Doda police on June 4, 2013 for allegedly supplying arms to the five arrested persons in connection with unsuccessful attempt of lobbying hand grenade at police station Thatri during intervening night of April 27/28, 2013.

After completion of 10 days police custody today, Doda police today produced both of the accused in the court of CJM Doda who extended their police remand by three days.

Meanwhile Prosecuting Officer Doda failed to argue on bail matter before the court of Additional District Principal and Session judge Doda as police failed to produce the case dairy in the court. PP informed the court that he had intimated the police about producing of CD file in court and added that the same was not handed over to him.

The counsel appeared on behalf of the accused pledge before that court that police is deliberately playing the delayed tactics in the case and fail to act under law. Defence counsel also informed the court that his client was cleared by the government for prestigious Sher-e-Kashmir gallantry medal for his meritorious services in the field of counter insurgency.
