Clashes erupted between youth and the government forces on Thursday during a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Malangpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said that youth took to streets and clashed with the forces after government forces launched a CASO in the Malangpora area of Pulwama district after receiving input about the presence of militants in the village.
Reports also said that youth assembled and pelted stones of government forces, triggering clashes.
Forces restored to teargas shells to disperse the protesters, reports said.
