Clashes broke out between the forces and youth on Monday after government forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Tarigami village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports said that scores of the youth assembled and pelted stones soon after forces launched a search operation at Tarigam village to disrupt the CASO. Forces retaliate with tear gas shells to disperse the protestors.
An official said that a cordon and search operation was launched in the village following inputs about the presence of militants.
Heavy contingents forces have been deployed in the area and search operation is going on, sources said.
