Reports of intense stone pelting clashes is pouring in from Islamabad southern part of Kashmir on Friday.
Reports said that youth took to streets and staged massive protests in Reshi Bazar, Mattan Adda and Lal Chowk areas after Friday prayers.
Police and paramilitary forces deployed in the area resorted to tear gas shelling to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes.
The Joint Resistance Leadership had called for protests after Friday prayers against the killing of a civilian in forces’ firing in Kakapora area of Pulwama yesterday.
